The fees do not include: tickets for the 10th SICOT Educational Day, International Course on Polytrauma Management, Cadaver Courses, and Networking Event lunches and beverages optional tours accommodation costs

VIRTUAL

Registration fees for virtual Congress delegates include: access to the  virtual sessions and recordings virtual e-posters European CME Credits a Certificate of Attendance

The fees do not include: access to the exhibition Awards/Closing Ceremony tickets for the 10th SICOT Educational Day, International Course on Polytrauma Management, Cadaver Courses, and Networking Event

Registration Fees & Value Added Tax (VAT)

The list of registration fees excluding VAT can be found below. SICOT is legally obliged to charge 27% VAT on these fees. 

Payment

The SICOT Congress Secretariat accepts the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and PayPal. If you have already registered and wish to pay, please log in to your SICOT account.  

                                                                  

Registration will only become effective once the registration form and payment have been received by the Congress Secretariat. Every participant who has completed the registration process will receive a registration number and a confirmation of registration.

 

Presenting Authors

IMPORTANT NOTE: Presenting authors of accepted abstracts (oral and e-poster) must register and pay the congress registration fee by 14 July 2021 (extended to 11 August!) to have their abstracts included in the Final Programme. The Congress Secretariat will not check if co-authors have registered. Presenting authors who are non-members should register using the Abstract Submission Portal. 

 

SICOT Members

SICOT Members have received a link to access the reduced registration fees. If you have not received a link, please contact congress@sicot.org.

Please note that participants who wish to register as Active Members or Associate Members will only be able to do so once their 2021 membership dues have been paid.

 

Non-Members

Non-members who already have a SICOT account for abstract submission or previous congress registration should use the same account and not create a new one. 

Non-members can save money on their Congress registration fee by joining SICOT. More information on how to join the Society can be found here.

Friendship Nations: Special preferential membership dues of EUR 50 for Active Members (40 years old and above) and EUR 20 for Associate Members (under 40 years old) are currently available for the first year of membership for NEW members residing in Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Slovenia. To benefit from the reduced registration fees for SICOT members, please apply for membership and send all required documentation before the following deadlines:
- early fee: 7 July 2021
- regular fee: 24 August 2021
- on-site fee: 8 September 2021
- presenting authors: 4 August 2021

Please note that participants who wish to register as Active Members or Associate Members will only be able to do so once their 2021 membership dues have been paid and their membership has been approved.

It will not be possible to register again as an Active or Associate Member or to receive a partial refund if a delegate has already registered as a Non-Member or Non-Member Trainee and payment has been received by the Congress Secretariat.

 

Non-Member Trainees

Participants who register as non-member trainees will only receive their confirmation of registration once they have supplied evidence that they are under 40 years of age AND actively engaged in a training programme. Please send a copy of your passport or birth certificate and a letter from your supervisor to congress@sicot.org.

 

Faculty

Symposium and keynote speakers will receive a link to register.

 

Groups

To register groups of 10 or more, please contact the Congress Secretariat at congress@sicot.org to benefit from a 10% discount.

Social Programme

The Networking Event will be held on Friday, 17 September and tickets cost EUR 62 + 27% VAT. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Danube river and the embankment aboard the Europa ship. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience! 

 

Visas & Invitation Letters

It is the responsibility of the delegates to ensure that they have obtained a valid visa and travel documentation for themselves and any accompanying persons, in order to attend the Congress. More information about visas and travel to Hungary can be found here. 

 

Cancellation & Change Policy

• Participants who cancel their registration before 14 July 2021 will receive a 75% refund of the amount paid.

• No refund will be made under any circumstances for cancellations received on or after 14 July 2021. This includes cancellations made due to visa refusal. Participants are therefore advised to start the visa application process well in advance.

• Registration fees will not be refunded due to the lack of appropriate COVID-19 documentation. Please read more here...
  

• No participant shall be entitled to change their registration from Non-Member (or Trainee) to SICOT Active or Associate Member once payment has been received by the Congress Secretariat.

• No participant shall be entitled to change their hybrid registration to a virtual registration once payment has been received by the Congress Secretariat.

• In the event of cancellations of speakers or other changes in the Congress programme, no full or partial refund of the registration fee can be made.

• A handling fee of EUR 35 will be retained in the event of cancellation of the 10th SICOT Educational Day, International Course on Polytrauma Management, and Cadaver Labs before or on 1 August 2021. No refunds will be made for cancellations of these events received after 1 August 2021.

• A handling fee of EUR 35 will be retained in the event of cancellation of social activities before or on 1 August 2021. No refunds will be made for cancellations of social events received after 1 August 2021.

• Name changes will incur a charge of EUR 50 per replacement. Name changes are not allowed after the regular registration deadline (17 August 2021).

• Refunds will be processed after the Congress. Refunds can only be made via the original payment method. Refunds by bank transfers may incur processing fees from your bank over which we have no control.
