Kevin Tetsworth (Australia)

Prof Tetsworth is a highly accomplished and internationally recognised orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in multiple areas including deformity correction, limb lengthening, high-energy trauma, bone defects, post-traumatic limb salvage and reconstruction,osteomyelitis, prosthetic joint infection, complex revision arthroplasty and osseointegration for amputees. He completed his education and training in Chicago followed by two fellowships, one in Ilizarov surgery (under Dror Paley) and another in osteomyelitis (under George Cierny). Clinically active in orthopaedics for over 35 years, for the past six years he has partnered together with Prof Munjed Al Muderis using osseointegration for the reconstruction of amputees. Prof Tetsworth’s research interests are as diverse as his clinical interests, including the biology of the Masquelet-induced membrane, intra-articular fractures, 3D modelling and printing, tissue engineering, biomimetic scaffolds, orthopaedic infections, bone defects, osseointegration and more. He has almost 200 publications,including one book, 16 book chapters and more than 135 PubMed listed peer-reviewed papers.


Laszlo Hangody (Hungary)

Prof Laszlo Hangody is an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon and member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He is the head of the Department of Traumatology in Semmelweis University as well as the head of the Orthopaedic and Trauma Department of Uzsoki Hospital, Budapest. His main research focuses are total knee replacement, ligament surgery, cartilage repair and he was the developer of the mosaicplasty technique. He has served as an executive board member in several Hungarian and international scientific associations, and was a founding member of the International Cartilage Repair Society. He is an Honorary Member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and his scientific contribution has been recognised by the Oscar Miller award as well as numerous Hungarian scientific recognitions. His department has been selected as a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence and an ESSKA Teaching Center.


Onder Aydingoz (Turkey)

Prof Dr Onder Aydingoz is the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Istanbul University  - Cerrahpasa, Faculty of Medicine. He is a past president of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) and Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (TOTBID).He was the Vice President of Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA) from 2016 to 2018. He has also served on the boards of the Turkish Spine Society (TOD), Turkish Education Council of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (TOTEK) and Turkish Orthopaedics and Traumatology Association (TOTDER). Currently he is the Federation Committee Chair of APOA, Chairman of the APOA Turkish Chapter, a board member of the EFORT Foundation and a co-opted board member of the Fragility Fracture Network (FFN).
