What is included?

Registration fees for Congress delegates include: access to all scientific sessions (except the Optional Events listed below) access to the exhibition European CME Credits Certificate of Attendance Awards/Closing Ceremony Congress App lunches for 3 days

The fees do not include: tickets for the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and Networking Event tickets for the Optional Events below optional tours accommodation costs

Payment

The SICOT Congress Secretariat accepts the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and PayPal.   

                                                                  

Registration will only become effective once the registration form and payment have been received by the Congress Secretariat. Every participant who has completed the registration process will receive a confirmation of registration.

 

Presenting Authors

IMPORTANT NOTE: Presenting authors of accepted abstracts (podium and e-poster) must register and pay the congress registration fee by 25 June 2024 to have their abstracts included in the Final Programme. The Congress Secretariat will not check if co-authors have registered.  

 

SICOT Members

SICOT Members have received a link to access the reduced registration fees. If you have not received a link, please contact congress@sicot.org.

Please note that participants who wish to register as Active Members or Associate Members will only be able to do so once their 2024 membership dues have been paid.

 

Non-Members

Non-members who already have a SICOT account for abstract submission or previous congress registration should use the same account and not create a new one. 

Non-members can save money on their Congress registration fee by joining SICOT. More information on how to join the Society can be found here.

Friendship Nations: Special preferential membership dues of EUR 85 for Active Members (40 years old and above) and EUR 45 for Associate Members (under 40 years old) are currently available for the first year of membership for NEW members residing in the Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkiye). To benefit from the reduced registration fees for SICOT members, please apply for membership and send all required documentation before the following deadlines:
- early fee: 18 June 2024
- regular fee: 27 August 2024
- on-site fee: 17 September 2024
- presenting authors: 18 June 2024

Please note that participants who wish to register as Active Members or Associate Members will only be able to do so once their 2024 membership dues have been paid and their membership has been approved.

It will not be possible to register again as an Active or Associate Member or to receive a partial refund if a delegate has already registered as a Non-Member or Non-Member Trainee and payment has been received by the Congress Secretariat.

 

Non-Member Trainees

Participants who register as non-member trainees must supply evidence that they are under 40 years of age AND actively engaged in a training programme. Please send a copy of your passport or birth certificate and a letter from your supervisor to congress@sicot.org.

Faculty

Symposium and keynote speakers will receive a link to register by email from the Congress Secretariat.

 

Groups

To register groups of 10 non-members or more, please contact the Congress Secretariat at congress@sicot.org to benefit from a 10% discount.

Visas & Invitation Letters

It is the responsibility of the delegates to ensure that they have obtained a valid visa and travel documentation for themselves and any accompanying persons, in order to attend the Congress. More information about visas and travel to Serbia can be found here. All delegates will receive an invitation letter once they have registered. Please add your passport number during the registration process.

 

Cancellation & Change Policy

• No refund will be made under any circumstances for cancellations received on or after 2 July 2024.  

• Cancellations requested due to visa refusal will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Participants are therefore advised to start the visa application process well in advance.

• No participant shall be entitled to change their registration from Non-Member (or Trainee) to SICOT Active or Associate Member once payment has been received by the Congress Secretariat.
  

• In the event of cancellations of speakers or other changes in the Congress programme, no full or partial refund of the registration fee can be made.

• A handling fee of EUR 35 will be retained in the event of cancellation of social activities before or on 2 July 2024. No refunds will be made for cancellations of social events received after 2 July 2024.
  

• Name changes will incur a charge of EUR 50 per replacement. Name changes are not allowed after the regular registration deadline.

• A fee of EUR 50 will be charged for lost badges during the Congress.

• Refunds will be processed after the Congress. Refunds can only be made via the original payment method. Refunds by bank transfers may incur processing fees from your bank over which we have no control.
