The Asia-Pacific region is vast, with many pockets of excellent and technologically advanced health care system. But millions are still struggling with basic health care needs, especially in trauma care and combating infectious diseases.
The challenge is for health care professionals in Asia Pacific to encourage and promote frugal innovations, to improve healthcare and alleviate standards of healthcare in resource-scarce environments.
